What you can get here, at no cost

The pregnancy test here is the same kind a lab runs, and you'll get the result before you leave. A positive one leads straight to an ultrasound, also free. The scan shows how many weeks along you are and if the pregnancy is growing. Every option depends on those two facts.

Expectations Women's Center

Expectations Women's Center has two offices in central Pennsylvania, in Lewisburg and Williamsport. Pregnancy tests, ultrasounds and facts about your options are free. Pennsylvania allows abortion to 24 weeks and requires a 24-hour wait. So the first useful step is to find out how far along you are.

Is the pregnancy test really free?
Yes. The test and the ultrasound are both free. No co-pay, no bill later.
Do I need an appointment?
Call (570) 523-6872 and we'll find you a time. We're open Monday 10 AM to 3 PM. Tuesday 10 AM to 3 PM and 5 PM to 8 PM. Wednesday 10 AM to 6 PM. Thursday 4 PM to 7 PM. Friday 10 AM to 2 PM.
How soon can I have an ultrasound?
After a missed period and a positive pregnancy test. That's not a rule about our schedule; it's about your body. Any earlier, and the scan often can't show what it needs to show.
Does Expectations Women's Center perform or refer for abortions?
No. We do the pregnancy test and the ultrasound, and we'll answer what you ask about your options.
Do I have to pay or commit to anything?
Our confidential services are available free of charge to all women and men, regardless of circumstances.
Is what I tell you confidential?
All services at Expectations Women’s Center are provided free of charge and confidential (as allowed by state law) in a non-judgmental way without regard to sex, age, race, income, nationality, religious affiliation, disability or other arbitrary circumstances.
